What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is one of the largest primary contact health care professions in Alberta. It is a non-invasive, hands-on health care profession that serves to diagnose, treat, and help prevent disorders and conditions related to the spine, nervous system, and musculoskeletal system.
Our mission in every treatment is to restore normal function of daily activities, optimize any desired mobility and movement, and diminish remaining pain. We set the bar high for what your body can achieve. Part of our goal is to restore you to a pain-free body, identify the aggravating activity that causes pain and educate you on how best to combat these stressors. This process most commonly involves personalized stretching and strengthening techniques that will empower you in moving forward.
The chiropractors at Uthrive utilize numerous modalities (Active Release Techniques, Graston therapy, acupuncture, rehab) in addition to adjustments to fully address each patient’s condition (this includes joints, muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments).
